MetroBuddy respects your privacy. In this document, we outline what data we collect and how we handle it.
Your card data (balance, expiration date, serial number) are stored on your device. When you "swipe" your virtual card, we do not record any timestamp or location.
If your iOS device is connected to iCloud, the card data will be synced across your devices using iCloud. We do not have access to your iCloud data. iCloud sync is governed by Apple's own privacy policy and you can opt-out at any time.
We also store a flag on your device when you finished onboarding your card. This flag (either true or false) is used by the app to
know if it needs to show you the onboarding tip and never leaves your device.
We do not collect or track your usage of the app.
If your iOS device is configured to share diagnostics data with developers, Apple will send us anonymous usage and crash reports with us. These reports only contain the information needed to diagnose the issue, for example the reason of the crash and the OS version. This is governed by Apple's own privacy policy and you can opt-out at any time.
Should we update the privacy policy, we will notify users in the app within 30 days of the change.
